Missoni x Converse – 2012 Preview

Written on January 27th, 2012 by adminno shouts

Missoni might very well be the world’s best known manufacturer of luxury knitwear, and they’ve managed to extend their reach in recent years will well-placed collaborative releases from a variety of partners. The one that carries the most weight around these parts is the Italian fashion label’s ongoing tag team with Converse that’s produced some of the more unique looks in recent memory. The Missoni x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star will return later this year in a fairly dark construction reminiscent of the Auckland Racer we previewed not too long ago, and the absence of the Pro Leathers we showed you at the same time suggests there could be even more in store for 2012. Click through to see how leather details including the signature toecap make the Chucks feel extra special and stick with onefineshoe news for updates on their release.

Dave White x Air Jordan 1 – Release Date

Written on January 25th, 2012 by adminno shouts

One fine shoe News first showed you this highly-stylized Air Jordan 1 in August of 2011, and they immediately became the hot topic of conversation for the month. This Dave White-designed Air Jordan 1 was actually the second one of the year; the first dropped via an online auction, with just 23 pairs to go around, with all proceeds going to the Jordan Brand ‘WINGS For The Future’ program, which was established to assist schools with financial support. The second Air Jordan 1 DW was set for a retail release, but after the rumors of a late-Fall/early-Holiday release disintegrated, many had forgotten about ‘em due to the release of a slew of other high-profile Air Jordans and Nikes for the holiday. The great news of an actual release surfaces tonight, as the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 is confirmed for a limited release on February 11th, 2012 at Jordan Brand retailer SoleFly. No word on if other spots will get these in stock, but stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you updated, but be aware that these will release on February 11th at $175.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII – Black – White – Wolf Grey – Cool Grey

Written on January 25th, 2012 by adminno shouts

The Kobe System consists of seven distinguished levels of life-improvement, with the first level starting at ‘Success’. Most of us have a long way to go to even reach the Level 1 status, but one way to quickly get on the System is to get the Nike Zoom Kobe VII on your feet. This Black/White/Grey colorway was previewed extensively before (as early as November), and many praised it for its no-frills colorway as it gave our readers a true detailed look at the overall construction of the shoe. While we await the animal-inspired releases of the Kobe VII, you can add these non-Supremes to your stash now because they’ve become available now in stores.

Nike Huarache Free 2012 – White – Team Red

Written on January 24th, 2012 by adminno shouts

Hybrids have that unshakable stigma but the Huarache Free 2012 has busted out of the gates to open arms, creating hope for hybrid sneakers that are likely to hit us in the near future. Combining two revolutionary ideas of the previous two decades, the Huarache Free 2012 is entirely functional as a high-performance shoe, but it’s clear that Nike aimed to touch the hearts of those who have been begging for a Air Huarache re-issue. We’ll settle for these now, and with new releases hitting us this season, like the White/Team Red seen here, it’ll be hard for even the most staunch purists to turn away. Nikestore has this simple two-toned colorway available right now, so check out the extra angles below and cop yours today.

New Balance Custom US993

Written on January 24th, 2012 by adminno shouts

When New Balance first went live with the customizable options on the US574 last year, it made sense that that ubiquitous retro model was the one to kick things off. If you’ve had your fill of 574′s though, New Balance just launched a similar process for the New Balance 993, a model that doesn’t see too much play around these parts but is a classic nonetheless. Coming from the canon of longer, small-N silhouettes, this suede and mesh combo can be tricked out to your heart’s content with a pretty good variety of tones and colors, with the subsequent manufacturing going down right here in the US. Continue reading for a couple samples and head over to the New Balance website to make a pair for yourself.

Air Jordan 1 High ’7Ave’ Custom by Seb-One

Written on November 13th, 2011 by adminno shouts

There’s a stretch of Curtis St. in Boston colloquially referred to as ’7ave’ or ‘Cats Alley’ where abandoned freight lines and isolated bridges make for an ideal place to practice your graffiti skills. It’s there that shoe customizer Sab-One got his start and it’s this one-of-a-kind place that he commemorates with this new Air Jordan 1 Retro custom. Sab’s AJ1s reflect the look of tags that never got covered by anything but time, the rusty, faded look of these combining with the classic handstyles to capture an artform that’s seen radical shifts in recent years. Click through so you can see more angles on these and let us know how they compare to the best customs we’ve seen here on onefineshoe.

Nike Blazer Mid AC – Full 3M

Written on September 5th, 2011 by adminno shouts

When a Nike footgear product goes from sample to publish, sometimes minor (or major) tweaks are made. Take for example, last Spring 2010′s publish of the Nike Blazer Mid AC, which featured an upper of 3M reflective and grey. This velcro-strapped Nike Blazer Mid could have been a Full-3M upper, like this sample shows, but perhaps there were one too many changes that would deem this a true sample edition of the publish. When doing a quick comparison of the two, you’ll see that the released version (in addition to not being a full-3M upper) has a white midsole, patent leather trim, and black lace placket. The full-3M version you see here was never released, so check out the additional images below and cop this unreleased pair of Nikes at a great price from onefineshoe.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – Black – Medium Grey – Anthracite

Written on September 4th, 2011 by adminno shouts

You know that the most favorite colorway for the Nike Air Force 1 Low is the white on white, with the all blacks probably coming in second. So what do you wear when you want something somewhere in the middle of the spectrum? This shady pair leans a bit more to the black side, with the introduction of grey and anthracite helping to lighten them up a bit. The Nike Air Force 1 Low shown here also has the favored tumbled leather treatment, which has been protruding up more and more on Nike examples much to the use of sneakerheads around the world. Keep Up with us after the jump for a full look at this pair of Uptowns and let us know if you will be putting them in your rotation. If so, get your pair from Step out in Japan if you can’t wait for the US release.

Nike Air Trainer Max2 ’94 ‘Total Orange

Written on September 3rd, 2011 by adminno shouts

Just because football season is starting up, that doesn’t mean athletes aren’t still training hard in prep of other sports. Even the sturdiest offensive linemen still need to get in a couple non-football workouts a week, and whether it’s power-cleaning half a house or running a cone drill, you’ll have the right look with the Nike Air Max2 Trainer ’94. This example is very much like its Nike Training brethren in the sense that their 17-year old design is every bit as fresh today as when it was introduced, this Total Orange colorway a reminder of the changing sunshine as we move into the fall and winter. Nike Air 1/2 Cent – White

Written on August 31st, 2011 by adminno shouts

Out of the Royal colorway, none of the other Nike Air 1/2 Cent releases had any true bearing to Penny Hardaway’s past. Of course, every Penny shoe that does release will be remembered by the Royal Blue colorway, as it serves as the unofficial litmus paper to any new sneaker bearing Penny name and logo. This unreleased sample of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent, one that onefineshoe first showed you two weeks ago, also has no real Air Penny connection the closest being the White/Grey colorway of the Air Max Penny 1 that dropped in ’05. It features a pure white Foamposite upper with beige acting in the supporting role on the suede upper and the rubber outsole. More images await you below, so take a peek and let us know if you think this White/Beige color-combo fits in with the Air Penny motif.
